To be eligible you must be registered in the AARFP Conference & Trade Show, follow our Instagram (@rfp_ab) AND Facebook page. Tag and take pictures appropriately.
The prize will be a 25$ Tim Hortons Gift Card!
You have until April 23, 1:00 pm to send or post two photos of yourself (or your friends) at Conference & Trade Show. The winner will be announced on May 2nd.
If you don’t want to upload your photos, you can send me the pictures to communications@aarfp.com, before April 23, 1:00 pm.
You will have to take 2 pictures at conference and upload the pictures on Facebook, Instagram with the following hashtags: #AARFP #RFPConf25

If you haven’t already, please download our event app (Pheedloop)! It will tell you everything you need to know about the keynotes, sessions, Trade Show, Sponsors and more!
To download the event app, please go into your app store and search for PheedLoop Go! Then you download it, once it is downloaded you will log in with the credentials that were emailed to you. If you forgot your password, use the forgot password button and use the email address you used to register for Conference. If you have any questions, Email Us.
How to pick your session in Pheedloop:
1. Download the Pheedloop App (go to the App Store and search Pheedloop, then download it) and log in with your credentials (they have been emailed to you already, if not email or call us).
2. Click on the “2025 AARFP Conference & Trade Show”.
3. Then click on “Schedule”.
4. From this point, you’ll be able to see what sessions are available. As well as the speaker. If you want to see the description, who else is attending it and more information on the speaker, click on the session.
5. When you find a session that you like, click on it, and then click on Add to Schedule.
6. You can always change your schedule. Click on the bottom right “My Schedule” to view your selections, and you can open it by clicking on it and then click remove to remove it from your schedule.
HOSPITALITY
All Hospitality will take place at The Drake Pub! Hospitality on Monday is sponsored by Quantum Recreation!
Right after Trade Show ends Quantum Recreation Musical BINGO! All Hospitality will take place at The Drake Pub (909 Railway Ave, Canmore, AB T1W 1P3)!
Go to Drake and listen to music for cool prizes. Listen to the songs and as you know the song title them mark your card. Are you ready to win GREAT and PRIZES? When you get a BINGO call bingo and the FIRST ONE to call WINS!!
The RFP Trade Show (sponsored by CIMCO) will be hosting new and old exhibitors for a night of business, networking and fun. We encourage you to bring and wear your favorite jersey to show off your team’s colors at the trade show!
Trade Show Draws
Trade Show Draws will occur at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm. We are giving away gift cards from $250 (sponsored by LIV unLtd), $500 (sponsored by Jet Ice) and $1000! You must be at Trade Show to recieve your gift card.
The next AARFP Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in person only, at the Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre, AB on Tuesday, April 25, 2025, at 11:15 AM. The following positions will be open:

- Park & Sport Fields Representative

The AARFP Award Banquet sponsored by Pinnacle on Tuesday April 15 starts at 5:30pm. The dinner will be buffet style. The dress code for the evening is business casual and ELTON JOHN.
After the awards banquet see if you can find all the of the easter bunny’s on your way to Hospitality! Everytime you find a bunny you’ll be entered to win an exciting prize. You will be entered in extra times if you know the bunny’s name and/or take a picture with them. The winner will be announced on Wednesday during lunch (you must be there to receive the prize).
Draws
There will be prize draws throughout Conference & Trade Show. If you have any items or swag that you would like to donate for the draw, let us know at the registration desk.
Grand Prize
The grand prize (sponsored by Concept Controls) are two kayaks! For a chance to win, hand in your name tag at the end of Conference and be present for the draw!

About the AARFP Conference & Trade Show
The Alberta Association of Recreation Facility Personnel (AARFP) is excited to host our Annual Conference and Trade Show, Recreation at its Peak.
Immerse yourself in an exciting program featuring over 30 education sessions, connect with industry experts at the Trade Show, and be inspired by our lineup of engaging keynote speakers. At the end of the conference, you’ll have learned about essential trends, applicable skills and will receive the necessary tools and resources to understand what is driving recreation today. The conference will be held in Canmore on April 13-16, 2025, with attendance by 250-300 delegates in recreation operations from Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories.
