I volunteer for AARFP because I enjoy the camaraderie and networking throughout our industry. It gives me comfort to belong to such a group of people in the field of recreation. One of my goals is to make our courses readily available at anytime, anywhere, to anyone online because sometimes it is as simple as travel expenses that prohibit people from receiving the training needed. A fun fact about myself is that I won a contest for some concert tickets in the Edmonton Ice District by doing an impersonation of Garth from “Wayne’s World”. They made me dance the “Foxy Lady” dance. If you look hard enough, you could find the video online! God, please don’t let them find it, lol.
